(Above) - A great circa 1975 blonde gingham mint in the original box.
Oversleeve is missing, but includes her original store receipt from 6/8/75.
Her shoes show some pinking around the soles.  Very straight hair, big blue
eyes and original large silver wrist tag.  She is $270
(SALE PENDING) Very nice Sasha from 1968!  This one is wearing a complete, early Kilt outfit that I believe is
original to her.  It came with her and is in quite good condition.  She herself is played with.  She has very long,
very thick hair that divides into two bunches or ponytails on the sides.  Her bangs are very thick and extremely
long.  I had to pull them to the side to take her pictures!  She has rubbed lips, but spectacular early eyes with
lovely shading.  She has a slightly eyebrow rub (see closeup for all this).  On the back of one leg is a mark.  I was
even able to find, in this doll's hair, a very light pencil line along the bangs, that showed the rooters where to
divide the hair when rooting.  The 1968 dolls with thick bangs happened right after the company stopped making
the "thin fringe" banged dolls, and the rooters needed new guidelines for where to root.  This doll has one strange
issue with her bangs and at first glance I thought it was a trimming, but it's in such a nonsensical and strange
place for a trim, and so tiny, that I'm wondering if it was just rooted that way. She has some very short hairs hidden
inside her bangs - please see photo (photo to come!).   This doll's color is really extraordinary.  She is very dark -
almost a reddish dark.  See photos below, which compare her to a 1969 kilt and you can see the complexion
difference!  She is $995
1980's Baby Nest.
Adorable brown
eyed, blonde baby
in sleeping bag.
The white liner of
the sleeping bag
has gone a little
yellow with age,
although the doll is
mint and smells
new.  Original box
included. $125
(SALE PENDING) Very early, special 1968 "Fringe" Sasha.  This lovely early
Frido girl was made during the transition from the no philtrum thin fringe dolls to
the thick banged dolls philtrum dolls.  She has a philtrum but has the older, no
philtrum hairstyle with just a thin row of bangs.  She has a very unique long face.
I have really never seen one like it before and it gives her a more mature,
unusual look.  She has gorgeous handpainted eyes and tiny, delicate eyebrows.

She has been VERY HEAVILY PLAYED WITH.  I have rarely seen a doll that has
been so well loved.  She is missing lip paint and her hair is very very frizzy - I
can't emphasize that enough.  Someone must have tried to condition it using
fabric softener somewhere along the way and it did help, no doubt, probably to
get a comb through it, and the faint smell  of the fabric softener still remains and
is noticeable.  There is really no remedy to straighten it further as I have already
steamed it, so she just needs to be loved the way she is!  Unfortunately, her hair
has also been CUT severely.  I have it pulled back in little side ponytails since
she has a center part (yes, a full center part!) and it can be braided as well if you
work in the cut strands.

Her body has fairly deep scratches around the midde - not sure if someone put
her in a doll stand or what, but they are like cut marks.  She has no ink or pin
pricks or anything like that - she was clearly cherished and well taken care of in
that respect, but this is a really played with doll.    She no longer has her original
stringing cord but by her bangs, she is certainly 1968.  She is being sold nude
(dress shown not included) and would be a great doll to dress!  She is $595
I do have some Sasha clothing available for sale!  It is in my

(SALE PENDING) A very lovely early 1970's Sasha boy.  He has been well loved but is in nice condition.  Great
long, shaggy hair (he'd even make a good short haired girl!)  and large watery blue eyes with small face and
body.   He has pumpkin cord so probably dates to 1974.  There is a lot of airbrushing and handpainting in his
eyes.  These large "puddle" eyes with the high pupil were some of the most beautifully done of the various
styles that appeared throughout the 20 year production of the English Sasha dolls.  This little boy is $150

This is such a wonderful doll!  She is from my own
collection - the only 1970/71 girl that I kept.  She is
pristine mint except that she is missing her wrist tag.  She
has blue gray eyes that are really stunning and unique.
The whites of her eyes stand out and have a little bit of
hand finishing in them.  Her lips have possibly oxidized to
a tan color, although the color on the lips of some earlier
dolls can be very neutral.  They are not green or white as
usually happens with this year's dolls.  Her hair is parted
at the crown and retains the original dovetailing parting.
Her shoes don't even have missing paint on the snaps.

She has her original tube with her and it is dirty out the
outside, but still has the original metal disk and also the
original white disk top that also doubles as a doll stand!  It
also identifies the doll as a Blonde Gingham.  It is
appropriate for her, as it states Trendon Ltd, the label for
1970,  as opposed to the earlier Frido Ltd mark on the
1969 doll tubes.

She's really stunning - she retains her original white string
as well.  You really can't ask for better eyes on an early
doll than these unusual swirly blue/gray ones!    She is
$45
