SALE PENDING1968 Fringe Sasha. She is absolutely mint save for a lip rub and a
nose rub that must have occurred when she was bumped or fell. It is sad, as she is
one of the most mintiest early girls I have ever seen. These early one row fringe dolls
are extremely scarce. She even has her original hair bow in the original factory set,
which is EXREMELY rare, as that was usually the first thing to come out!
She wears the rare early wide skirt BROWN cord dress with matching panties and
shoes and original undershirt. She has a BLANK back gold tag, also very rare to
find, as they were manufactured before the dolls were being exported, thus no
reason to state "Made in England".
Her hair is a thin fringe of bangs with the rest pulled back in beautiful condition and
very long.
This girl has some smudgies on her torso where it looks as if it might be from a doll
stand. She retains her original stringing cord inside and I have never restrung her.
She can stand, but be aware that she is a little loose. I could restring her for the
buyer if so desired.
A very rare and beautiful girl that I have had for many years in my collection, and the
most mint early doll that I have. (I named her "Holly" several years ago and featured
her on my website, which led to confusion among other sellers, who thought that any
Sasha in a brown cord dress had the factory name "Holly" and would put that in their
Ebay listings! :) But please see the photos of the lip rub and little nose ding (the little
nose ding is not very noticable - I actually never saw it until I brought her out into the
direct natural sunlight.
Holly is $2300 - -I"m very sorry to let her go, but it is out of necessity....I hope to find
a very good home for her. For overseas shipping, I will need to send her by Express
Mail and the cost will be $44 to make sure she is very well packaged. It will carry
tracking as well.

(SALE PENDING) HERE is an amazing and rare Sasha no philtrum boy.
No philtrum boys are very rare, as most of the boys were made after the
philtrum mold was introduced. He has completely handpainted eyes and
brows. They are very much in a style that Sasha M used to paint in,
assymetrical but highly detailed and freely painted at the same time.
He is in very good condition. He has one dot on his back and one small
double line scratch on the side of his face. He has his original stringing
inside and wears an early robe (I assume original) with the pocket on the
opposite side. His sandals match, and he wears the blue PJ's underneath.
They have one small yellowish dot near the bottom of one leg.
He has platinum hair - different from the blended colors or honey colored
hair used shortly afterwards.
He's really a spectacular and very seldom seen doll. Usually when the no
philtrum boys are found, they were later in the NP production and have
the more uniform and less detailed eyes. I don't know enough about
Sasha Morgenthaler's stlyle while painting the production dolls, but she
did sometimes paint in the factory in order to train the eye painters. I have
no way of knowing either way and it's possible that the eye painter just did
a fabulous job in a very Sasha style. I can email more detailed photos!
He is $3900 and I can accept a layaway on this fine boy. Express Mail
shipping on him is $44.

Here is a really beautiful and rare TINY eyed 1968 Sasha girl with a "fringe"
hairstyle. She is really adorable and these small eyed dolls have a much
younger look than the more crude eyed dolls that were made earlier that year
and two previous years.
Head to toe: She is nude. Her hair is in mint condition with no cutting or
frizzing. Her face paint, fortunately, is beautiful! Click on her closeups!
However she has a couple of small issues. First, she has a little pinhole in her
forehead under her bangs. She has a little nose rub and a shiny place on one
cheek. On her body on the front and back in two places is a little bit of a pink
or red tinge. I'm pretty sure this can be removed with clearasil in sun, but I
have not tried it. She has a little dot on one arm and some smudging on the
backs of her legs. Overall though she is very beautiful and it's amazing that
her face paint is so lovely; these early dolls so often got serious lip rubs easily!
She needs to be restrung - she is very loose and having her hold these
positions was quite a challenge.
Her hair does have a part rooted to the nape of the neck, but it's a jagged part
a big off center, so mostly likely, they decided to have her leave the factor with
her hair pulled up as it is shown in the first photo. But it CAN be styled in
ponytails as shown. She's a very lovely girl and so rare! REDUCED TO
$1450!

Eyestyle comparison with NP doll. Both
are handpainted.
