Order Policies and Repair Info
To Place an Order:

We have been selling on line since 1997.  I am able to provide
many references as well as my Ebay feedback.

Email me to place an order.  Click here. (If you email me,
please allow a few days for a response.  I am not a full time
business - I do not have employees.  :)    If you are in a
hurry for an answer about a doll or repair or for questions
you have about Sasha, please realize that I simply cannot
always answer an email right away.  (I know that most
people empathize with this, but I have had a few people
who have emailed me numerous times in one day, over and
over, frustrated at a lack of response within a few hours, so
I figured I'd put this section in to avoid hurt feelings!)

I can accept personal checks, money orders and Paypal.  If you
are ordering from overseas and do not wish to use Paypal, bank
drafts will have to be in US dollars.  Checks may be held until
cleared.  I will ship your doll within a week of payment (usually less,
but most of the time I cannot get to the post office until the
weekend.)  A handling charge of $2 per order (for dolls - $1 for
clothing and small things) for within the US and $3 for international
orders will be included in the shipping costs, which will vary by zip
code.   Shipping is by US Priority Mail.  I strongly suggest that
overseas customers use Express Mail for dolls (costs about $35
per doll as opposed to the $24 for airmail) as Express Mail is
trackable and guaranteed.  With Express Mail, the package is
scanned each time it passes through someone's hands, and daily
email updates can be sent right to your inbox by the postal service
if the tracking number is entered.

If payment is to be by check or money order, it MUST be received
within 7 days of the agreement.  If by paypal, it must be received
within 3 days and paid in full or the item will no longer be held!

Please be aware that if someone writes and tells me that they are
buying an item, and then "disappear", I will not work with that
individual on future on purchases.  This is unfortunate, but sales
can and have been lost when I am holding an item for a buyer who
then changes their mind without letting me know.  If you are going
to make a buying commitment, please be sure you are prepared to
follow through before asking me to put a hold on something.   It is
MUCH appreciated! :)

Layaway:
Short layaways may be available on some items with a price of
over $200, and are negotiated on an individual basis.

Credit Card Orders:  I DO take credit card payments through
Paypal for non-layaway items.  I DO NOT have facilities to take
credit cards separate from Paypal.

Returns:
I try very hard to describe all items as well as possible and to take
numerous photographs.  If you are not satisfied, returns are
accepted if I am notified within five days.  Item must be returned in
same condition as sent.  (Mint in box items that have been taken
out of box, undressed, washed, exposed to smoke, etc., are not
returnable.)   Shipping costs (sent and returned) are not
refundable.
Is your Sasha in pieces, or can't hold a pose?
Sasha can be fixed!!
I have had over 13 years experience in
repairing all productions of Sasha dolls.  (Restringings will hold up to
much play, as can be evidenced in my children's own Sashas!)  Unlike
doll hospitals that do not specialize in Sasha, I make certain that my
repair dolls are strung tightly and evenly enough to hold a pose, but not
tight enough to break a neck hook or cause caving and damage.
Prices for repair:

English Sasha doll or 1960's Gotz doll:  $20.  The cost includes all new
cord plus a head hook on the 1980's dolls, since they do not have it,
plus any needed limb hooks.  New neck plugs can be bought if I have
them available.

NOW your 1995-2001 Gotz doll can also be RESTRUNG!  These
dolls have always presented a unique problem because their
construction inside is vastly different and more complicated that the
older dolls that use hooks.  They are
much more labor intensive to
restring, and Gotz is no longer doing repairs on these dolls (since Gotz
is now a defunct company).  Often these dolls were just strung too tightly
at the factory, causing the body to cave in at the neck.  If you have a
1995-2001 doll whose body is caved, they will need to have their body
reshaped and will need to be restrung in order to be fixed.  It does not
always completely fix the problem, as sometimes the vinyl is just too soft
or weak to hold the original shape, but it can and does help and will
prevent future problems such as splits, as I restring them looser than the
factory.  I can now do this for $40 per doll.

If your doll is particularly dirty (or is having a bad hair day!), I can do
cleanings and  I can remove a good amount of smoke and mildew odor,
but as these smells can be stubborn, they will usually remain to some
degree or another.

In the case of mold and mildew odors, I can remove the source of the
mold through disassembling and thoroughly cleaning the parts inside
and out.  Of course, any cleaning also includes a complete hair
cleaning, conditioning and restyling, which includes flattening any
stubborn cowlicks, etc.   I cannot completely remove hair that has
frizzed, but a trip to the "beauty salon" here will smooth it and make it
much softer and shinier.  A cleaning/disinfecting in addition to a
restringing is $5 plus return postage.

I also have a small supply of Sasha baby parts (NOT the Sasha child
size though) so if your baby is need of new arms, legs or a torso, I may
be able to help.

I can also restring other types of dolls such as Natterers, American Girl,
as well as antique dolls.  Email me and I'll see if I can help.
